How to remove Footer credit from any Blogger Template
You may have tried to remove the footer section from a premium blogger template like Galaxy template but either your website was redirected to another website, or your contents were not saved. So, don’t worry here you will find the correct method to remove the footer section.
What is the footer section?
The footer section is the text at the bottom of the webpage. It mostly includes the name of the individual who made the website with some of their links, copyright notices, or social media links.
Do I need the footer section?
No, you necessarily don’t need the footer section. It doesn’t affect the content of a webpage. It depends on the owner of the website to add it or not.
How to remove the footer section?
If you have added the template in Blogger by downloading the free version of the template, then there you will find the link to other people’s websites which makes your website look a little bad. To remove the footer section just follow the following steps:
Step 1: Log into your blogger account and open your dashboard.
Step 2: Click on the layout section.
Step 3:Search for the Footer and edit it.
Step 4: Following window will pop up.
Step 5: Edit the text as follows:
Note: You can include your website name or anything in Any name. You can just write # as above or include your website URL as “https://www.alishpaudel.com.np/”
Step 6: Click the save button Select theme and click Customize and edit HTML.
Step 7: Click the edit HTML button Click near any text and Press CTRL + F key to Search Blogger Template.
The above menu will appear once you search it.
Step 7: Replace the Blogger Templates written below with your website name or anything you like.
Step 7: Follow the step 7 and search for ‘https://pikitemplates.com/”
Note: Once you search for it you might not find the text in blue just press enter till you find the text as above.
Step 8: Edit the link with your website by replacing the pikitemplates.com with your website.Eg:’https://alishpaudel.com.np/’
Now Save the changes.
Click in view blog and your footer is replaced by your own.
